January is a time for making new year's resolutions.  We all know how that works out. Some last hours, some days, some very few last longer.  But so many fall by the wayside only to crop up every once in a while to make us feel guilty for not following through.

Well, I want this to be a year of gratitude for me and you so here is what I'm proposing: let's challenge and discipline ourselves to come back to the Everyday Testimony Project every single day for a whole month and share our testimony.

It takes us a while to get into the habit of something and giving thanks is no different.  We have to look, examine, meditate, and share.  The more we give, the more we see how blessed we truly are.

I would love for you to share with everyone on this site, but maybe you can't or won't for some reason.  In that case, I challenge you to get a notebook or a journal and write something every day about why you are thankful.

Maybe you want to do a combination or put it both on this site and in a notebook.  However you want to do it is great, just be sure to do it!

Make it a priority, set an alarm to remind you if you need it (I have often employed this technique).  This will get us one step closer to giving thanks in every circumstance because this is God's will for us (1 Thessalonians 5:18).

If you want to participate, think about adding your name in the comments so that you have a "written" record of you participating and go tell someone else about it too (someone close or an online friend).  Accountability is great motivator.

Be blessed! (and yes, I'm taking the challenge)
